RetroArch é software de front-end grátis, de código aberto e multiplataforma para emuladores, motores de jogos, video games, multimídia e outros. Não considero das mais amigáveis, mas devemos levar em conta a complexidade do programa.


Instalação


O Retroarch está disponível em todas as distribuições por seus empacotamentos próprios, mas devido a facilidade de instalação e pós instalação, ele empacotado em Flatpak é sem sombra de dúvidas a melhor opção.

Instale o suporte a Flatpak com o comando correspondente a sua distribuição.


Para Arch Linux e Manjaro

sudo pacman -S flatpak
Para Debian e Ubuntu
sudo apt install flatpak
Para Fedora
sudo dnf install flatpak
Para openSUSE
sudo zypper install flatpak

Para adicionar os repositórios do Flathub de os comandos abaixo.
flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo

Para instalar o Retroarch execute.

flatpak install org.libretro.RetroArch


Configuração


Aqui irei mostrar o basico para que você inicie algum emulador e o game.

Abra o Retroarch vá em Menu > Atualizador online.


Click em todos os "Atualizar ...".

 


Vá em Baixar núcleo para instalar o seu emulador preferido.

 


Confira a lista de emuladores.

 


Eu optei por instalar o emulador do Nintendo 64, basta escolher o seu preferido e clicar nele.



Click em Voltar para retornar ao menu principal. Click em Importar conteúdo > Analizar diretório. Aqui é com você, precisa ter a sua coleção de Rom.



Indique o diretório das suas Rom e click em Analizar este deretório.



Volte ao Menu principal e o seu emulador com as Rom já estará disponivel.



Basta clicar na Rom iniciar o game e boa jogatina.
