O anúncio do pacote de correções foi feito em 23 de Fevereiro de 2021, sete dias após o lançamento do 5.21, isso mostra o grande diferencial do Linux sobre qualquer outro sistema, a agilidade da comunidade em resolver problemas e entregar um software de confiança, pois se der problema sera corrigido quase que de imediato.

"Hoje o KDE lança uma atualização de correção de bugs para o KDE Plasma 5, versão 5.21.1. O Plasma 5.21 foi lançado em fevereiro com muitos refinamentos de recursos e novos módulos para completar a experiência do desktop.
