Linus anunciou o kernel Linux 6.2rc1 final que segundo ele deve ser um lançamento maior que o 6.1. Confira.

Linus lança o Kernel Linux 6.2rc1

O anúncio foi feito em 25 de Dezembro de 2022.

"Graças a muitas pessoas que enviaram suas solicitações pull com antecedência, consegui grande parte do trabalho de mesclagem feito antes do início das férias, e principalmente antes da minha viagem pré-natal. Então, apesar do atrasos no vôo, conexões perdidas e problemas no hotel de aeroporto, a janela de mesclagem correu bem e não houve razão para atrasar rc1."

Linus destaca possível atraso no lançamento final do Kernel 6.2 devido as ferias de final de ano e os 13,5 mil commits feitos por1800 desenvolvedores.

"Além disso, o 6.2 parece ser um lançamento maior (certamente maior que o 6.1. E enquanto isso, Feliz Natal e um Próspero Ano Novo a todos"
