Lançados Gnome Shell e Mutter 43 Alpha

GNOME Shell é o shell gráfico do ambiente de área de trabalho GNOME a partir da versão 3, lançada em 6 de abril de 2011. Ele fornece funções básicas como iniciar aplicativos, alternar entre janelas e também é um mecanismo de widget. GNOME Shell substituiu o painel GNOME e alguns componentes auxiliares do GNOME 2.
