OBS: Muito provavelmente a sua placa de rede por cabo sera reconhecida, você pode ter problema com a wifi, nada impede de você instalar o driver proprietário dela, mas ira precisar de uma conexão a cabo para fazer, ou ter a firmware em seu computador para uma instalação offline.
