O Kernel 5.3 vem com varias correções e melhorias, as que se destacam são:

O anuncio do lançamento foi feito por Linus Torvalds no dia 15 de setembro de 2019.
"Então, tivemos um silêncio grande semana passada, mas acho que foi bom que acabou tendo essa semana extra e o rc8 final.
Mesmo se o motivo dessa semana extra fosse minha agenda de viagens, do que quaisquer problemas pendentes, acabamos recebendo algumas boas correções, incluindo alguns por algum comportamento ruim de btrfs. Sim, há alguns ruído desnecessário também (como as correções ortográficas), mas também teve várias reverências de última hora por coisas que causaram problemas."

Instalação
A instalação é apenas para usuários do Debian testing híbrido com unstable e experimental.
A atual versão no Debian não é a final, é a rc5 e para instalar de o comando abaixo no terminal.
sudo apt install linux-image-5.3.0-rc5-amd64 linux-headers-5.3.0-rc5-amd64
Feita a instalação é só reiniciar a maquina para logar no novo Linux.
