Vivaldi é Open Source ?

"O Vivaldi não é disponibilizado sob uma licença unificada de código aberto. Ele contém o código-fonte do Chromium com as alterações feitas para permitir a execução da interface do usuário baseada em HTML / CSS / JS. Todas as alterações no código-fonte do Chromium são disponibilizadas sob uma licença BSD e podem ser lidas por qualquer pessoa em vivaldi.com/source/. Os detalhes nesse sentido são explicados nos arquivos README e LICENSE dentro do pacote.

Atualização de temas

Também trabalhamos mais na programação de temas de Vivaldi nesta versão. No início, Vivaldi não seguia o modo Escuro / Claro do sistema operacional (OS) por padrão.

Mudança de foco através do teclado

Um dos pontos fortes de Vivaldi é o conjunto de atalhos de teclado que ele fornece para que você possa navegar muito mais rápido.

Nesta atualização, introduzimos um recurso exclusivo de acessibilidade que permite focar entre diferentes áreas da interface do usuário e páginas ativas usando F6 (ou Shift + F6).

Instalação

Instalação para Debian e derivados.

Para instalar eu optei por adicionar o repositório oficial do desenvolvedor, assim mantemos o navegador sempre atualizado e seguro.

Para instalar abra o terminal e adicione o repositório.

sudo add-apt-repository 'deb https://repo.vivaldi.com/archive/deb/ stable main'

Adicione a chave do repositório.

wget -qO- https://repo.vivaldi.com/archive/linux_signing_key.pub | sudo apt-key add -

Atualize a lista de pacotes.

sudo apt update

Instale o Vivaldi.

sudo apt install vivaldi-stable

Ai está o Vivaldi.
