Instalação

O Google Chrome pode ser instalado pelo fonte, por .deb ou .rpm, mas temos a possibilidade de o instalar por um único empacotamento e em qualquer distribuição Linux.

Iremos utilizar o empacotamento Flatpak, além de ser compatível com todas as distribuições de pacotes Linux, não faz alterações e não compromete o seu sistema operacional.


Para adicionar suporte a pacotes Flatpak a sua distribuição, execute o comando correspondente a ela.



Para que a sua distribuição tenha suporte a esses pacotes você deve instalar os pacotes abaixo, use o comando referente a sua distribuição no terminal.



Para Arch Linux e Manjaro

sudo pacman -S flatpak

Para Debian e Ubuntu

sudo apt install flatpak

Para Fedora

sudo dnf install flatpak

Para openSUSE

sudo zypper install flatpak

Adicione os dois repositórios Flathub.

Repositório stable

flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo

Repositório beta

flatpak remote-add --user flathub-beta https://flathub.org/beta-repo/flathub-beta.flatpakrepo

Instalação



Para instalar o Chrome execute o comando abaixo no terminal.

flatpak install --user flathub-beta com.google.Chrome

Caso acuse falta de dependência instale.

 

flatpak install org.freedesktop.Platform/x86_64/20.08

 

Ai está.
